Section 14:10-1A.4 - Directories

(a) ILECs shall provide subscribers with access to electronic telephone directories listing the name, location, and telephone number of all customers whose numbers are provided to the ILEC, except information not provided at customers' request.

(b) Upon request of a subscriber, the ILEC may provide a printed paper copy of a directory to a customer.

(c) Data pertaining to emergency numbers shall be conspicuously listed in the front part of the directory pages.

(d) Data pertaining to emergency numbers shall be conspicuously listed in the front part of the directory pages which shall include space for the customer to list emergency numbers, including those of gas, electric and water companies.

(e) The directory shall contain instructions concerning placing calls to repair.

(f) The directory shall contain instructions concerning placing local and long distance calls, calls to repair and directory assistance services.

(g) The informational consumer pages in the front of each local telephone directory shall include information regarding restrictions on access to adult-oriented services, in accordance with N.J.A.C. 14:10-7.
