Section 13:95-15.14 - Written policy and procedures

(a) The Superintendent or designee of each secure facility shall ensure that written policies and procedures pursuant to this subchapter are established. These written policies and procedures shall be incorporated into the next revision of the secure facility resident handbook. A copy of the written policies and procedures shall also be posted in juvenile housing areas.

(b) All new or revised policies and procedures shall be incorporated into the next publication of the resident handbook and shall be posted in juvenile housing areas.

(c) Proposed written secure facility policies and procedures regarding juvenile legal services and any additions or revisions to such written policies and procedures shall be submitted to the Director of Operations for review prior to implementation.
