Section 13:69F-2B.2 - Cards; number of decks; rank of cards(a) Switch Hands Blackjack shall be played with not less than six decks nor more than eight decks of cards, with backs of the same color and design and one additional cutting card. All decks used to play Switch Hands Blackjack shall comply with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 13:69E-1.17. The cutting card shall be opaque and a solid color readily distinguishable from the color of the backs and edges of the playing cards.(b) The point value of the cards contained in each deck shall be as follows: 1. Any card from two to 10 shall have its face value;2. Any jack, queen, or king shall have a value of 10; and3. An ace shall have a value of 11, unless that value would give a player or the dealer a score in excess of 21, in which case it shall have a value of one.(c) The "rank" of the cards, for purposes of the optional match wager, in order of highest to lowest rank, shall be: ace, king, queen, jack, 10, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, and two.
