Section 13:47A-12A.1 - Authority

(a) The rules in this subchapter are adopted pursuant to the authority granted by N.J.S.A. 49:3-47 et seq., and specifically N.J.S.A. 49:3-83.

(b) Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to eliminate the applicability of the antifraud provisions of N.J.S.A. 49:3-47 et seq. Fraudulent activity may still be charged as fraud under N.J.S.A. 49:3-52, 49:3-52.1, or N.J.S.A. 49:3-53.

(c) Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to eliminate the applicability of the Federal securities laws.
