Section 13:45-2.1 - Subject matter jurisdiction

(a) The jurisdiction of the Division shall extend to all sales or advertisements for the sale of merchandise or real estate, pursuant to the Act and to contested matters where the Director is authorized to proceed with administrative charges for violations of 34:8-43 et seq., 45:17A-18 et seq. or 45:14D-1 et seq.

(b) Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to preclude the Attorney General from pursuing violations of law in any other forum.
