Section 13:36-10.4 - Exemptions

(a) A person employed on a full-time basis by the Federal, State, county or municipal government who is not permitted by law or rule to actively engage in the practice of mortuary science shall be exempt from complying with the continuing education requirements of 13:36-10.3.

(b) A licensee who elects to be inactive pursuant to 13:36-4.14 shall be exempt from compliance with the continuing education requirements of 13:36-10.3 for any biennial period, or portion thereof, during which a licensee is inactive.
