Section 12:62-1.1 - Application and scope

(a) The rules in this chapter are promulgated by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development in order to implement "The Public Works Contractor Registration Act," P.L. 1999, c. 238 (34:11-56.4 8 et seq.). The Act establishes a unified procedure for the registration of contractors and subcontractors engaged in public works project.

(b) The provisions of this chapter shall apply to all contractors, as that term is defined in 12:62-1.3.
