Section 12:56-6.1 - Rate of overtime payment

For each hour of working time in excess of 40 hours in any week, except for those exemptions set forth in 34:11-56a 4 or as provided in 12:56-7.1, every employer shall pay to each of his or her employees, wages at a rate of not less than 1 1/2 times such employee's regular hourly wage.
