Section 12:56-16.1 - Independent contractor status criteria

The criteria identified in the Unemployment Compensation Law at 43:21-19(i)(6)(A)(B)(C) and interpreting case law will be used to determine whether an individual is an employee or independent contractor for purposes of the Wage and Hour Law.
