Section 12:17-8.12 - Pay for work as a board worker for a county board of elections on an election day(a) For the purposes of eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits, an unemployed individual, who is otherwise eligible for benefits, shall not be deemed unavailable for work or ineligible solely by reason of the individual's work as a board worker for a county board of election on an election day.(b) An individual's eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits shall not be affected, and the amount of benefits received by the individual shall not be reduced, as result of election day work at the polls.N.J.
