Section 10A:9-1.1 - Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to set forth objective criteria for standardized inmate evaluations, custody level assignments, and correctional facility assignment. In addition, this chapter also sets forth provisions for the award and forfeiture of commutation time and work credits, the transfer of inmates between correctional facilities and the parole recommendation process for inmates incarcerated pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2C:47 and 2A:164.
