Section 10A:18-5.6 - Package processing
(a) All properly identified incoming packages (see 10A:18-5.4 ) shall be distributed to inmates as soon as possible to avoid spoilage of perishable items.
(b) All properly identified outgoing packages (see 10A:18-5.4 ) shall be sent to the post office within one day of their receipt in the mail room excluding weekends, holidays and during emergency incidents.
(c) Inmates shall not be involved in the processing of either incoming or outgoing packages.
