Section 10A:18-4.8 - Processing of publications

(a) All properly identified and inspected incoming publications (see 10A:18-4.5 and 10A:18-4.6 ) shall be distributed to inmates within one day of their receipt in the mail room, excluding weekends, holidays and during emergency incidents.

(b) All properly identified outgoing publications (see 10A:18-4.7 ) shall be sent to the post office within one day of their receipt in the mail room, excluding weekends, holidays and during emergency incidents.

(c) Inmates shall not participate in the processing of either incoming or outgoing publications.
