Section 10A:13-4.3 - Resolution of wage/job issues
(a) All inmate pay is posted to the accounts of the inmates once a month. Inmates are responsible for verifying their posted monthly wages.
(b) Inmates who have an issue with the hours worked, wages posted and/or job must notify the correctional facility Administrative staff by utilizing the Inmate Remedy System and supplying all the necessary reasons and documentation (see N.J.A.C. 10A:1-4 ). For hours worked and/or wage issues, Inmate Remedy System forms must be filed within 90 calendar days of the date of the wage posting to the account of the inmate.
(c) Appropriate correctional facility staff shall research the issue and consult with the supervisor of the inmate when deemed necessary in order to resolve the issue in accordance with the provisions of the Inmate Remedy System.
(d) Upon receipt of the decision rendered, an inmate who does not agree with the decision may file an Administrative appeal in accordance with the provisions of the Inmate Remedy System.
