Section 10:91-4.1 - Services available to New Jersey residents(a) The following services are available to all New Jersey residents: 1. The regional offices shall provide outreach, information/referral services and process applications for anyone contacting the Commission. Persons whose best corrected visual acuity is less than 20/50-1 but does not exceed 20/70, shall be eligible for issuance of a State of New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission identification card.2. The diabetic eye disease detection program promotes the early detection and monitoring of retinal and other ocular changes in known diabetics.3. The pre-school vision screening program provides visual acuity and muscle imbalance screening to preschool and kindergarten children, to detect symptoms of amblyopia and other eye conditions that may cause visual impairment or loss.4. The mobile eye examination program provides eye examinations to individuals for whom eye care is unavailable or available on a limited basis at sites such as housing projects, senior citizens centers, nursing homes, institutions, and community based programs.5. The migrant eye examination program provides eye examinations and follow-up service to migrant laborers and their families.N.J. Admin. Code § 10:91-4.1
