Section 10:78-9.13 - NJ FamilyCare/Premium Support Program payment formula

(a) A monthly premium charge shall be assessed and collected for all participants in the NJ FamilyCare Premium Support Program (PSP), in accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:49-9.2 and (b) below. PSP participants shall be assessed $ 10.00 less per payment for children and $ 5.00 less per payment per adult than the standard NJ FamilyCare premium payments. The assessments shall be deducted from the premium support payments remitted to the beneficiary in accordance with N.J.A.C. 10:78-9.12.

(b) Premiums shall be paid monthly for children and parents/caretakers enrolled in NJ FamilyCare Plans C, D and H who are PSP participants in accordance with Table 1 below. The single monthly premium for children shall include all children in the family. The monthly premium for parents/ caretakers shall include the first parents/caretaker and the second parents/caretaker premiums indicated in Table 1, as applicable.
