Section 10:77-5.1 - Purpose and scope(a) This subchapter sets forth the manner in which intensive in-community mental health rehabilitation services (intensive in-community services) shall be provided, through community-based provider entities, to eligible Medicaid/NJ FamilyCare and Department of Children and Families' (DCF) Children's System of Care beneficiaries under age 21.(b) This subchapter describes intensive in-community services as one component of the continuum of mental health care services provided through the Children's System of Care. Intensive in-community services are provided as part of an integrated service plan, addressing the unique needs of the child, youth, or young adult and his or her family/caregiver with the goal of stabilizing and maintaining the child, youth, or young adult in the community and averting the need for more intensive services, including, but not limited to, treatment in residential or other inpatient settings.N.J.
