Section 10:72-7.2 - Period of presumptive eligibility(a) The period of presumptive eligibility shall begin on the date an approved presumptive eligibility entity determines that, based on information provided by the family of the presumptive eligibility beneficiary, the child(ren) meets the requirements and standards of this chapter.(b) The period of presumptive eligibility shall terminate:1. On the date a determination of eligibility or ineligibility for New Jersey Care ... Special Medicaid Programs is made; or2. If the child's parent, guardian, or caretaker relative fails to file an application with the applicable eligibility determination agency, on the last day of the month subsequent to the month in which the child(ren) was (were) determined presumptively eligible.
