Section 10:167E-3.3 - Agency controls

(a) The Commissioner shall establish operating policies to expedite the processing of applications and to assure the maximum possible compliance with the standards set forth in this chapter.

(b) The Department of Human Services, Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services, has the responsibility for investigating beneficiaries in matters involving potential fraud and/or abuse.
