Section 10:161B-16.1 - Establishment of policies and procedures

(a) The outpatient substance use disorder treatment program shall establish, implement and conspicuously post written policies and procedures regarding the rights of clients, including appeals procedures for involuntary discharge, which shall be available to clients, staff, and the public.

(b) The program shall provide annual in-service education to its staff concerning the implementation of policies and procedures regarding client rights, and as part of new employee orientation.

(c) The program shall comply with all applicable Federal and State statutes and rules concerning client rights.
