Section Sw 4001.02 - Ticket Characteristics, Purchase and Restrictions(a) To purchase a hot lotto ticket, an individual shall be 18 years of age or older. An individual under the age of 18 years of age may be the recipient of a hot lotto ticket, and may redeem the ticket.(b) Once a ticket has been produced for the player, it shall be the sole responsibility of the player to verify the following are correct:(2) The player chosen 5, 2-digit numbers and one additional 2-digit number;(3) The dollar amount wagered;(4) The number of draws desired;(5) The ticket contains the New Hampshire hot lotto logo; and(6) The ticket contains the New Hampshire lottery logo.(c) A hot lotto ticket shall not be canceled.(d) A bet placed for a drawing which has already occurred shall be void.(e) The price of a game play shall be determined by MUSL.(f) Tickets shall be purchased only through authorized agents.(g) A hot lotto ticket shall be a bearer instrument until such time as a signature is placed in the designated area on the back of the ticket.(h) No prize shall be paid without the physical possession of a winning ticket.(i) The lottery commission director shall make payment as directed by the person(s) whose signature(s) appear on the back of the ticket.(j) In a case of a disputed prize, the lottery commission in concert with MUSL shall determine entitlement which may be appealed by the prize winner to a New Hampshire court of appropriate jurisdiction.(k) The lottery commission shall not be responsible for lost or stolen tickets prior to their redemption.(l) The lottery commission shall not replace lost or stolen tickets prior to their redemption.(m) In the event a bet is not accepted and confirmed by the central computer system, the liability of the lottery commission and its agent shall be limited to a refund of the amount wagered, or if appealed, as determined by a New Hampshire court of appropriate jurisdiction.N.H.
