Section Soil 303.02 - Examination Requirements for Wetland Scientist Candidates(a) After submission of all material described in Soil 301.01(b), except for Soil 301.01(b)(5), the applicant shall be notified by the OPLC that they are eligible to for the examination.(b) The examination for wetland scientist shall consist of both a written exam and field exam. The applicant shall be required to pass the written portion examination before being eligible to take the field portion of the examination.(c) All wetland scientist examination candidates who completed the mapping and educational requirements of Soil 302.05 shall register to take the examination with the natural scientist examination company contracted with the OPLC on behalf of the natural scientist board through the state of New Hampshire RFP process.(d) The board shall hold wetland scientist field examinations in June and September on a parcel of land selected by the board. Examinations shall be given to all persons who have successfully passed the wetland scientist written examination.(e) The field exam shall be a test of the applicant's ability to practice wetland science pursuant to Soil 302.04. The time allotted shall not exceed 6 hours. The grade shall be pass or fail.N.H. Admin. Code § Soil 303.02
