Section Saf-C 6906.07 - License Approval
(a) If the state fire marshal, after reviewing the application, the competency test and the background investigation, determines that the applicant is knowledgeable and qualified in the safe use, handling and storage of pyrotechnic effects, special effects or flame effects, he/she shall issue a license to the applicant to set up, load and remove pyrotechnic effects, special effects or flame effects before a proximate audience, performers or support personnel.
(b) A license shall be valid for a period of 3 years from the date of issuance, expiring on the last day of the licensee's birth month, unless the license is suspended or revoked prior to the date of expiration.
(c) A license shall not be transferred.
