Section Saf-C 5701.04 - Criminal history record information (CHRI)

"Criminal history record information (CHRI)" means information collected by criminal justice agencies consisting of descriptions and notations of arrests, detentions, indictments, information or other formal criminal charges and any disposition arising therefrom, sentencing, correctional supervision, and release. The term does not include identification information such as fingerprint records to the extent such information does not indicate involvement of the person in the criminal justice system.
