Section Saf-C 3118.04 - Written and On-Road Examinations(a) Each applicant for a CDL driver education certificate shall successfully complete, with a grade of 80% or higher, a written 100 question multiple choice examination conducted by the department of safety.(b) The written examination shall consist of the following general topics:(1) The operation of a motor vehicle;(2) Information contained in the New Hampshire CDL driver's manual;(3) Motor vehicle statutes; and(c) Candidates for written examination shall not be prohibited from using an unaltered copy of these rules provided by the department.(d) A written examination pursuant to (a) above shall be valid for a period of one year.(e) An applicant who has failed the written examination pursuant to (a) above shall not be eligible to retest for a period of 10 working days between the administration of the examinations.(f) Each applicant for a driver education certificate shall successfully complete a comprehensive driving examination conducted by the department of safety.(g) An applicant who has failed the comprehensive driving examination pursuant to (f) above shall not be eligible to retest for a period of 10 working days between the administration of the examinations.N.H.
