Section Saf-C 1710.02 - Trip Permits, Out of State Vehicles

(a) Each out of state registrant eligible for an apportioned registration and not apportioned with New Hampshire shall purchase a 72 hour trip permit before entering New Hampshire.

(b) There shall be no fee for a trip permit.

(c) The trip permit shall allow for interstate and intrastate operation.

(d) The trip permit shall include the following:

(1) Beginning and ending dates for which the permit is requested;

(2) License holder's name;

(3) Current plate number;

(4) Mailing address;

(5) Vehicle make, year, fuel type, registered weight and vehicle identification number;

(6) State of registration;

(7) US DOT number; and

(8) Signature of applicant and date signed.
