Section Saf-C 1630.02 - Construction of Bulk Vehicle Body(a) A bulk vehicle body for delivering and mixing blasting agents shall conform to the following: (1) The body shall be constructed of noncombustible materials;(2) Vehicles used to transport bulk premixed blasting agents on public highways shall have closed bodies;(3) All moving parts of the mixing system shall be so designed as to prevent a heat buildup; and(4) Shafts or axles which contact the product shall have outboard bearings with one inch minimum clearance between the bearings and the outside of the product container with particular attention given to the clearance on all moving parts.(b) A bulk delivery vehicle shall be strong enough to carry the load without difficulty and be in good mechanical condition.N.H.
