Section Saf-C 1629.11 - Welding(a) No welding shall be permitted or open flames used in or around the mixing or storage area of the plant unless the equipment or area has been completely washed down and all oxidizer material removed.(b) Before welding or making repairs to hollow shafts, all oxidizer material shall be removed from the outside and inside of the shaft and the shaft vented with a minimum 1/2 inch diameter opening.N.H.
