Section Saf-C 1410.03 - Jumping Platform (a) Jumping platforms shall conform to the following: (1) The safe working load shall be determined by the maximum weight on the platform at any one time, with a safety factor of not less than 5 times the maximum designed platform weight; (2) The platform shall have a non-slip surface; (3) The platform shall have anchor points for safety harnesses, designed and placed to best suit the movements of anyone on the platform; (4) The platform shall be fitted with a permanent fence separate from the jump point to contain the jumper during preparation; and (5) There shall be a gate across the jump point which shall remain closed when a jumper is not present.N.H.
