Section Saf-C 1404.01 - Standard Required(a) All carnival or amusement rides, except as set forth in (d) below, shall be maintained in the manner prescribed by the manufacturer of the carnival or amusement ride.(b) If the manufacturer's instructions for maintenance are not available, the carnival or amusement ride shall be maintained in a manner which will prevent the carnival or amusement ride from being hazardous to any user, operator, or spectator.(c) The responsibility for proper maintenance shall rest with the owner or operator.(d) Maintenance of challenge courses or zip lines shall conform to the standards set forth in the 16th edition of the ANSI/ACCT Challenge Courses and Canopy/Zip Line Tours Standards (2016), available as noted in Appendix B.N.H.
