Each school bus shall be equipped with one pair of 4" X 4" x 8" or equivalent safety chock blocks. The chock blocks shall be located in the forward portion of the school bus adjacent to the driver. In the event a school bus is parked on a grade sufficient to cause the bus to move on its own momentum, or in the event the driver leaves the bus, the safety chock blocks shall be securely placed around the rear wheels of the school bus to prevent movement.
