Section Saf-C 1308.25 - Seat Belt System - Drivers(a) A restraint system shall be provided for the driver which shall comply with the manufacturer's specifications.(b) Each school bus manufactured before January 1, 2005, shall be equipped with a locking retractor type seatbelt for the driver. Each belt section shall be booted to keep the buckle and button-type latch off the floor and within easy reach of the driver. The belt shall be anchored in such a manner or guided at the seat frame to prevent the driver from sliding sideways from under the belt.(c) Each school bus manufactured on or after January 1, 2005 shall be equipped with a restraint system consisting of a lap and shoulder belt for the driver.N.H.
