Upon receipt of information indicating that any person has been convicted of driving a vehicle after suspension or revocation of the driver license, the commissioner shall, after notice and a hearing, extend the period of such suspension(s) or revocation(s) in effect for an additional period of the same duration, unless extenuating circumstances exist such as, but not limited to:
(a) Failure to receive notice of suspension or revocation; or(b) Failure of an insurance company to act in a timely manner.N.H. Admin. Code § Saf-C 1016.14
