Section Saf-C 416.04 - Notice of Hearings(a) The department's notice of hearing shall include the following information: (1) The date and time of the hearing;(2) The location of the hearing;(3) The name of the lake being considered for designation; and(4) A statement that the purpose of the hearing is to determine whether the lake should be designated under these rules for assisted lake protection.(b) The commissioner or designee shall forward notice of any public hearing under these rules to: (1) The petitioners designated by Saf-C 416.02(c)(6) and (7);(2) The town or city clerk for any town or city in which the lake is located; and(3) The person who submitted a petition that was granted, if the hearing is to determine whether the grant of the original petition should be repealed.(c) The commissioner or designee shall inform the general public of the hearing by: (1) Publishing notice in a paper of statewide circulation; and(2) Issuing press releases to print and electronic media.(d) The notices and press releases required by this rule shall be mailed no later than 10 days prior to the date of the hearing.N.H.
