N.H. Admin. Code § Saf-C 2002.04
A person governed by these rules shall immediately report a lost or stolen registration plate or temporary plate to the local police department, and within 5 days thereafter, an owner, partner, member, officer or director listed on the application shall contact the division of motor vehicles in writing to provide the local police case number and shall also apply for a replacement plate in accordance with the procedures set forth in Saf-C 516.
