Section Pos 802.01 - Awards to Individual Students(a) Participating institutions shall select individual New Hampshire residents who are full-time undergraduate students and who have completed their freshman year for awards under the leveraged incentive grant program.(b) The following criteria shall be applied by the participating institutions in making awards: (1) Awards shall be based on need and merit;(2) Recipients shall make satisfactory academic progress according to the standards of the institutions he or she is attending as specified under 34 CFR 668.43(c);(3) The maximum award shall not exceed the cost of education;(4) Awards, both from funds of the State of New Hampshire and from the participating institutions own accounts, shall not diminish the amount of individual grant aid to which eligible students are otherwise entitled under the Higher Education Act of 1965, 20 U.S.C. 1070 et seq, as amended; and(5) Participating institutions shall ensure that awards are made only to New Hampshire residents.N.H.
