Section Pos 602.01 - Determination of Awards(a) All applications received by the central processing system on or before May 1 of each year shall be considered on-time applications. When May 1 occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, the receipt date shall be the Monday immediately following May 1.(b) If there are insufficient funds to make awards to all eligible applicants with the same EFC, awards shall be made in application receipt date order, starting with the earliest receipt date and proceeding chronologically until all funds are expended.(c) For each student who receives a NHIP award the following shall be subtracted from his/her cost of education:(2) Pell grant awards; and(3) The scheduled NHIP grant.(d) If the remainder after applying (c) above is positive, the NHIP grant shall be awarded, if it is negative the applicant shall not receive the NHIP grant.(e) Students enrolled half-time or greater, but less than full-time, shall receive an award one-half that received by a full-time student.N.H.
