Section Plc 1305.01 - Applying for Initial Licensure
(a) Any individual who meets the applicable qualifications in Plc 1304 and wishes to become licensed in New Hampshire to practice one of the regulated MIRT professions shall submit an application for licensure in accordance with this section.
(b) Each applicant for initial licensure shall submit to the licensing bureau:
(1) A "Universal Application for Initial License" dated March 2023, as tailored for MIRT licenses, that contains the information specified in Plc 304.03 and Plc 1305.02 and the signature and attestation specified in Plc 304.05;
(2) The documentation identified in Plc 304.04 and Plc 1305.03; and
(3) The application processing and licensing fee specified in Plc 1002.
(c) Subject to (d), below, each applicant shall also complete the process established by the NHDOS for requesting a criminal records check, accessible via the NHDOS website at https://www.nh.gov/safety/ or directly at https://services.dos.nh.gov/chri/cpo/, including paying any required fee and directing that the results be sent to the OPLC.
(d) Pursuant to RSA 328-J:7-a, IV, an applicant who is actively serving in any component of the U.S. Department of Defense who has a current military security clearance may arrange for confirmation of the security clearance to be sent to the licensing bureau in lieu of obtaining a criminal records check.
