Section Phy 307.02 - Requirements for Supervisors(a) A physical therapist shall be supervised by a physical therapist.(b) A physical therapist assistant shall be supervised by either a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant.(c) The practice of a conditional licensee shall be supervised by one or more individuals who: (1) Are currently licensed in New Hampshire as a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant and have been practicing clinically for a period of at least one year;(2) Are non-probationary employees not under disciplinary investigation or pending disciplinary charges in the facility where supervision is to take place;(3) Have not had any disciplinary action taken against them in the preceding 2 years; and(4) Are not related in any of the following ways to the conditional licensee to be supervised: a. Spouse or civil union partner;b. Parent, step-parent, parent-in-law, or step-parent-in-law;c. Natural, foster, or adopted child or stepchild; ord. Sibling, brother-in-law, or sister-in-law. (d) If there is more than one individual supervising a conditional licensee at any particular time: (1) Only one of these individuals shall bear responsibility for compliance with Phy 307, notwithstanding that he or she has delegated supervisory tasks to another; and(2) That individual shall complete and sign the supervision form described in Ahp 601.05 and submit it to the board by the conditional licensee.N.H.
