Section Per 1201.04 - Absence Without Proper Notification(a) It shall be the employee's responsibility to report any absence to the appointing authority, unless, due to emergency circumstances beyond the control of the employee, such as employee hospitalization, failure of state electric, telephone or computer systems, or similar barriers to communication with the appointing authority, the employee is unable to communicate his or her absence to the appointing authority.(b) An employee shall be considered absent without proper notification if such employee fails to notify the appointing authority of the reason for any absence.N.H.
