N.H. Admin. Code § Pda 301.05

Section Pda 301.05 - Emergency

"Emergency" means a situation that requires immediate action to protect the health and safety of individuals or to prevent damage to property or the environment, including, but not limited to:

(a) Severe weather conditions; or

(b) Deteriorating conditions on board a vessel that jeopardize its seaworthiness or the ability of the master of the vessel to control the vessel.
