Section Pari 810.01 - Program Requirements(a) Licensees shall provide a program to receive and maintain greyhounds for adoption.(b) Greyhounds shall be placed in the adoption program for the sole purpose of being available for adoption as pets and companions.(c) Licensees shall have a plan ensuring sufficient personnel, training and funding to operate and maintain the adoption program.(d) Facilities used to maintain greyhounds for adoption shall be maintained in a manner which promotes the health, safety and welfare of the greyhounds and shall be subject to inspection by the commission.(e) Crates housing the greyhounds available for adoption shall meet the same specifications as those used for housing greyhounds in the racing kennels.(f) Only one greyhound shall be housed in a crate at any time.(g) Licensees shall, after consultation with the commission veterinarian, establish and maintain a feeding program for greyhounds available for adoption.(h) Fresh water shall be available for the greyhounds at all times unless otherwise prescribed by the commission veterinarian.N.H.
