Section Pari 807.01 - General Duties of Occupational Licensees(a) Those occupational licensees who deliver direct care to greyhounds shall ensure that the greyhounds for which they are responsible receive: (1) Adequate food, water and shelter;(2) Adequate veterinary care; and(3) Protection from physical pain and suffering.(b) All occupational licensees shall protect greyhounds both on and off the racing premises by: (1) Keeping them from being injured, frightened or tampered to the extent of the licensees' abilities; and(2) Reporting to the commission any information they acquire about past or threatened injury to, frightening of, or tampering with, a greyhound.(c) Occupational licensees shall be familiar with the rules of the commission.(d) Occupational licensees shall not participate in a racing meet while their licenses are suspended in any jurisdiction as determined by the commission after a hearing.(e) Occupational licensees shall not: (1)Refuse to allow the taking of a sample of a greyhound's urine, blood or saliva or other bodily substance or interfere with the taking of such a sample;(2) Participate or conspire in illegal bookmaking, betting or touting;(3) Directly or indirectly solicit, accept or offer any bribe in any form in connection with greyhound racing;(4) Commit any fraudulent or unlawful act on any licensee's racing premises or in connection with any racing meet in any jurisdiction;(5) Direct any profanity, obscenity or abusive epithets toward any racing official or commission employee upon the racing premises;(6) Take any action upon the racing premises that causes a clear and present danger of violence;(7) Participate in any altercation on the racing premises by striking, attempting to strike, shoving, holding or wrestling with another person;(8) On the racing premises threaten another person with physical harm or cause another to reasonably believe that he or she is threatened with physical harm;(9) Cause or allow any report or document containing false or misleading information to be submitted to: c. The racing secretary; or(10) Alter or forge a prescription for medication for a greyhound;(11) Alter or forge any identification mark on a greyhound;(12) Smoke in any area on the racing premises which is designated a "no smoking" area;(13) Be intoxicated or under the influence of controlled substances on the racing premises;(14) Fail to report promptly to the commission the unlicensed participation in a racing meet of any person known to be required to be licensed;(15) In the course of an investigation make false or misleading statements to the commission or to the board;(16) Fail to comply with any order of the commission or the board;(17) Possess any controlled substance without a valid prescription;(18) Incite, encourage, assist or cause another to engage in conduct prohibited by these rules;(19) Refuse to accept delivery either by mail or in hand of a written communication from the commission or an employee of the commission; or(20) Fail to do their duties as set forth in these rules.N.H.
