Section Pari 805.01 - Composition and Term of the Board
(a) Judges shall be accredited by ARCI.
(b) A board of 3 judges, with one judge presiding, shall be present for each racing performance.
(c) One judge shall be a judge selected by the commission and 2 judges shall be selected by the licensee unless the circumstances are those described in (d) below.
(d) If a judge becomes temporarily unavailable to serve, the remaining judges shall promptly:
(1) Appoint a temporary judge to replace him or her without regard to the temporary judge's selection by the commission or the licensee; and
(2) Report the appointment to the commission in writing.
(e) The board shall be reconstituted with the same or new members at the beginning of each racing meet.
(f) The duties of the board shall continue for the longer of the following periods:
(1) Ten calendar days after the last day of the racing meet; or
(2) The period of existence of any issues related to the meet's races which are subject to determination by the board.
(g) The commission shall send official notice to the board when all issues described in (f)(2) above have been determined.
(h) The judges shall enjoy free access to the racing premises for the purpose of carrying out their duties.
