Section Pari 605.38 - Qualifications for Harness Racing DriverIn addition to the qualifications set forth in Pari 605.35 above, an applicant for an occupational license as a harness racing driver shall:
(a) Be a member of the USTA;(b) Be recommended for the occupational license by 2 persons whom the applicant has known for at least 2 years and who are not relatives;(c) Be recommended for occupational licensure by at least one owner or stable for whom the applicant will drive horses;(d) Be at least 16 years of age; and(e) If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, submit written permission from at least one parent or legal guardian to serve as driver.N.H.
