Section Occ 406.11 - Public Professional Presentations Relating to Occupational Therapy(a) The board shall recognize public professional presentations relating to occupational therapy, including workshops, lectures, poster presentations, and in-service trainings, as maintenance of continuing competence.(b) The board shall credit the licensee with 2 contact hours for each clock hour of a public presentation and 2 contact hours per poster presentation, to a maximum of 12 contact hours, provided that, if the licensee gives substantially the same public presentation more than once, the board shall credit the licensee for only a single presentation.(c) Documentation of public professional presentations relating to occupational therapy shall be: (1) A copy of the official program of the presentation; or(2) Written verification signed by a representative of the program's sponsor showing: a. The title of the presentation;b. The name of the licensee as presenter;c. The date of the presentation;d. The hours during which the presentation took place; ande.
