Section Lab 1403.61 - Toxic Substance(a) The employer shall remove hazards from the workplace, and establish policies and work practices aimed at maintaining a safe work environment to protect workers from exposure to hazardous and toxic substances such as radioactive substances or other hazardous substances which are defined as a toxic substance under RSA 277-A:3 V.(b) When engineering and administrative controls are not feasible to achieve acceptable levels, protective equipment shall be used to keep the exposure of employees below the established limits.N.H.
