Section Jus 2004.11 - Release of Autopsy Reports(a) Autopsy reports shall be released only as specified in RSA 611-A:8 and this section.(b) The OCME shall treat autopsy reports as confidential medical records. The OCME shall release a copy of an autopsy report to the decedent's next of kin, a law enforcement agency or government agency involved in an investigation of the decedent's death. The OCME may release a copy of an autopsy report to a medical or scientific body or university or similar organization for educational or research purposes, provided however that when such reports are made available for that purpose, release shall be made upon the condition that all identifying information contained in the report shall remain confidential and shall not be published. The OCME shall not otherwise disclose such reports without authorization of the next of kin that complies with all applicable state and federal requirements for the release of such records. The requestor shall pay the fee specified in Jus 2006.01(e) before such report shall be provided.N.H. Admin. Code § Jus 2004.11
