Section He-W 544.14 - Hospice Payment Limitations and Adjustments(a) Hospice payments for inpatient care shall be limited and paid in accordance with Medicare regulations 42 CFR 418.302(f) .(b) Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) cases shall be included in the limitation calculation.(c) On an annual basis, by November 30, hospice providers shall submit to the department a copy of their Medicare cap report.(d) Hospice payments for inpatient care shall be considered to be interim payments with adjustments made during the end of the November 1 to October 31 cap period for any payments over the limit.(e) Hospice providers shall refund any excess reimbursement as determined and requested by the department in accordance with (a) and (d) above.N.H.
