When a recipient is eligible for only part of a hospital stay, the medicaid payment shall be made at 100 percent of the per diem for each day of care on which the recipient is medicaid eligible, not to exceed the DRG rate, except for rehabilitative cases, which shall be paid in accordance with He-W 543.13(a) .
